Welcome to Beoworld! Many of us here have a keen interest in the older B&O kit. The system you have is definitely too good the skip! You have a good system that deserves to be preserved and listened to, not worth an awful lot of money but one that compares well to a lot of newer kit. I am pretty sure you can attach a CD player too. Is it you system

I plugged my S30's in for the first time in ages last night and it reminded me how good they were. Little in the way of bass but a nice warm sound, ideal for your intended use, have you asked Martin if he has a tweeter? I have a Beolab 1700/Beomaster 1700 combo in my study. I know it's essentially a Beomaster 1100 in two boxes instead of one

I am coming late to this thread so will skip around the controversy and say enjoy threads like the one this was intended to be for two reasons. 1. Like many people I get stuck in my ways with the music I listen to, it's nice to get suggestions from fellow Beoworlders on what sounds good on a B&O system. I have ordered several CD's in response

11048437: jldmelb: Believe me, this is a true story, and my best ever B&O experience!! I was watching an item on ebay. The ad stated they were selling a B&O Avant, speakers, stereo and remote. There was one really poor photo showing the avant and what looked like Beolab Pentas (but they could have been Beovoxs, I wasn't sure). The ad was
