I often have to manually select FORMAT 2 on the beo4 to watch a movie which is then in rather poor quality (i'm guessing because it's zoomed), it is getting annoying! Is this just what all movies are encoded as these days? Or is there something wrong with my setup...?

It was posted over a year ago, i'm sure that's why you can't see the pictures. I suppose you could PM the member who posted them Jeff, and ask him to re-post them.
...There are very few negative threads, unlike the old official forum, and a wealth of friendly helpful people ready to encourage an entry into B&O ownership. But it would seem that some dealers have better ideas - no doubt they are satisfied with their sales figures already.
well said.

I used to turn my system off at the wall, but once my BL4000's power supply failed i started to leave everything on stand-by. Obviously the pop isn't normal, but leave it all in stand-by in future. That's what i'd do, it prolongs the life of the power supplies, and for you makes things easier without the pop.

B&O marketing "tosh". So how come that the exact same tweeters (and that is where most of the sound comes from) are considerably higher in the BL8000. What about Beolab1's. Do you buy higher seating to go with the taller speakers or maybe B&O should supply seat

I suppose you have a point. I have a Beovision, but the sound is different from the card as opposed to the Beosound so i guess i'm looking for a filter, the new sub won't be suitable for Beolab 1's i don't think... do you have any particular suggestions for a subwoofer filter i could use?
My collection: 3 Beosystems in total. Beolab 8000 with Beocord 9000, Beogram 8002, CDX and Beovox M150. Now living room use only. Beosystem 6000 white edition. Beocord 6000, Beogram 6006, white SC60 stand, Beovox S80.2 and Beovox S120. My dad is using some of it. Beosystem 6500 with Beocord 6500, Beocord 5500, Beogram

Has anyone been clever enough to 'make' a filter for beolabs just like the filter from the BL2, with switches and all? It would be a lucrative thing to produce and sell if you ask me. I really need a sub but don't want BL2...

Oooh! Not a Baileys drinker, but will be on the look out for a place who sells these with the form! :D
