Henry: This sounds very peculiar. Does the volume drop to 00 immediately, or does it reduce in volume as if you were holding the volume down button on your Beo4? When I turn on my Beocenter 2 to any source, the volume starts at the preset level of 45 and then immediately goes down to 00. I can try to manually raise the volume but it returns to 00.
