Pentas are absolutely wonderful, you will for sure fall in love with these amazing speakers. If you are moving them, do yourself a favor, and use gloves. Any sweaty (they are heavy) hand prints will be difficult to remove. A happy Penta owner.

Beolab: So the better chois is the besound 4 then? Yes the BS4 has slightly better specs. If, however, you prefer the BS3000 designwise, then I would take the BS3000.

I use two pairs of MCX35 and one pair of S80, at mid volume, and everything works fine. The amp. is good quality - IMHO.

It will handle all 4 spearkers without problems. I once had a setup, where it was connected to 1 * M75 (4 ohm), 1 * S80 (8 ohm) and 2 * MCX35 (8 ohm). Of couse the M75 was a little louder than the rest, but everything worked fine. It could not play that loud, but was fine for everyday use. My BS9000 with Pentas makes a light hiss sound, everytime I press any key on the remote. It is not hearable when playing louder than 30. Don't think it is ment to, but I am used to it now. Maybe it is the same sound you hear...

Alex: Connect the BeoLink Passive to the BeoSound 9000 via a MasterLink cable (your local B&O dealer should be able to help with that), making sure you also have an IR sensor on the Passive.
