How about using a Beosystem 3. Designed for just this purpose. Craig

Not sure how common they are, but I believe they were pretty much the standard mike to go with reel to reel Beocords. That's how I got mine, brought a Beocord and the MD8 was with it. Put it on Ebay with a BIN of £50. Someone in Greece bought it iirc. Craig

James, can you not just bring up a list on screen of what the STB can control. On my Avant 28, and BV3-32 I can do this. It comes up when you setup the connections in the menu. Craig

Well I missed this thread completely at the time. Due to the fact I was not around much when thus was going on. As usual a fantastic resto by Martin. have to say that echo box is a very intersting piece of kit. Did not think the sound difference would be so noticable as it is. Craig

Well the tittle says it all really. Think everything is working ok. There was no drive belt for the platter, but you could here the motor runing and the arm seemed to move ok. Display works perfectly. All parts are available apart from the following. Stylus Platter Drive belt (platter) PM me with what you need. As parts are sold I will post them here
