Hi Tom! Arrr good choice. I am a HUGE Paul Smith fan I am mad about their fitted shirts especially the ones with the stripes under the cuffs! I wear Paul Smith fitted suits for work they are superb quality and the fit is amazing - people comment on them. I baught my best friend one for his birthday as he'd always wanted one. I love Reiss clothes

The Samsung box is pretty creditable however, Sky now own Amstrad and after speaking to a fitter the other week, the majority are now Amstrad being offered. There will be a new Amstrad one in 2010 same looks however, smaller in ize and 500gb harddrive. Im sure those HD images will look amazing on the BV10 wish they would put that Samsung LED LCD screen

Hi Malcolm Wow what a beautiful television you are very lucky! Yes, I have a BeoVision 8-40 and have Sky+ HD connected to it! Yes usually a dual LNB is fitted to the minidisc therefore 2 cables are conncted to the box from the dish. This is required for the facility to record 2 channels at once. Don't worry if you live in an apartment and have a

  • Re: BeoVision 10 50'' and external Blu Ray player

Oh yes, I would love a BeoSound 3200 with a built in blu-ray player, mind you I would be a bit worried as im sure it would be sourced from Samsung - fabulous for lcd panels but not so hot for other things. A word on caution however, I baught a DVD1 in 2005 and feel so completed ripped off by it - £750 for a dam dvd player not cool especially as

Hi Tj Wow the BeoLab 6000 are my all time favourite speakers. With the bass and treble increased on the hifi itself, I think the sound quality is excellent! They are timeless. The BeoLab 6000 and 8000 speakers are the nicest designs that B&O have ever produced. Unfortunately I liked any of their newer offerings! The 2500/Ouverture is also my favourite

  • Re: CD-R80 on a Century?

Hi there! I've had my Century since December 1999 and have used CD-Rs on it in fact all of the time! No problems at all. Yes i record the full 80 mins. Ive used loads of different makes and all superb although I tend to use Sony or Maxell these days. The Century DOES NOT play CD-RWs however! I use iTunes all of the time. I work in radio and was

  • Re: Bang and Olufsen Newbie - Beovision 8-40 with Beolab 4

That is a beautiful television, I got mine a couple of months back and its truly wonderful. I use Sky+ HD and have just baught the new Sony BDP-S360 blu-ray player for it at £179! The Beo4 remote controls it too. Watching and indeed listening to Blu-ray discs on the BV8-40 is simply stunning and fabulous! You will love it!
