Hi Kaka. The remote is a Beolink 5000 which I think was the last two way remote that B&O made. I think it should work your BV7 but you might have to put it in one way mode. What model is your old TV? If Beolink 5000 works it, Beo4 should too. If I'm wrong, I'm sure some WOS (Wise Old Sage) will jump on here and correct me. Andy T.

Sorry Oasis, I'm not very knowledgable on this. However, I do know that the new remote, Beo5, will be able to control many different devices once programmed to do so by your dealer. That includes Kikinoko (non B&O) devices. Andy T.

On reading the forum, quite often we come across abbreviations. A common one is SWMBO. I thought it might be a good idea to list a few of these so please add to the list when you come across a new one. Here's a few starters------ SWMBO= She who must be obeyed.
