Most of you know I have recently wired in my new 8000s as rear to my Pentalab/Avant setup. Nah then, When I watch a DVD that is recorded in 5:1 surround sound but press Speaker, 4 so the centre speaker(Avant) isn't functioning. Is this quadraphonic or enhanced stereo? ie same on rear speakers as the front. Andy T.

I suffer from tinitus too, however my "noise" is a low throbbing like a large engine or a deep foghorn. The way I have learnt to live with it is, as I'm lying in my bed trying to get to sleep, I imagine boats in a harbour in dense fog passing each other It beats counting sheep Andy T.
