Video sources have to be delayed in flat TVs to be lipsync with the picture - audio sources don't need a delay. "AV" + "ANY AUDIO SOURCE" or "A.XXXX" + "GO" are audio commands ... .

I assume, your dealer is refering to the major SW update to SW 2.1 = ML-Mode in the Linkroom. SW 2.1 has been implemented August-2007 to all BeoLink Wireless 1 with Serial# > 19956171. If you are concerned about the wireless reception in the additional room - temporarily install the existing set in this room to see if it works - before buying a 3rd

Connect the VR 1 to the V.TAPE socket of the TV-set using a fully specified 21/21-pin A/V cable (SCART RGB cable). Assuming no other external video source (e.g. SAT/Cable Set-Top-Box,...) is connected fill in the menu as follows: V.Tape AV Decoder V.Tape None None If other sources have to be connected use either the "AV" or the "Decoder"

If you already own a MasterLink system (your audio and/or video system connected via MasterLink cables) you'll need an additional ML Cable to connect the BeoLink Wireles set up as transmitter. The other BeoLink Wireless 1 for the link room has to set up as receiver. - You will need either a Bang & Olufsen audio/video product with built in IR
Any other ideas?
Yes, if you don't need DVB-T, just ML and SCART: Use system module Type 4375 (without DVB-T - PartNr 1437500) instead of your current Type 4470 module. Both types have the same price. Sometimes less is more ...
If you have a BL active, it depends on the SW to make A.AUX work
BeoLink Active and BeoLink Passive from SW 1.5 on can handle the "A.AUX" command or, if you prefer a BL 1000, "Shift" + "Radio" ...
