Hello Gerald, perhaps a stupid question but did you try to reboot the Beosound 5? And do you see the recently copied CDs on the Beosound 5 (NOT the network drive, directly when using the wheels on the BS 5)? Do you have another Computer with e.g. Windows XP or Mac OS X installed to test if it's the computer?

The Serenata shouldn't have appeared! It is simply an embarassing product of a phone. The worst example for the category "Design and nothing more!" Totaly useless ... Perhaps they learned s.th. from their mistakes with Serene and Serenata or that cheap Samsung MP3 player called Beosound 6 ...

those transmitters are available from: - Logitech (Harmony remotes) - Philips (Pronto remotes) But I don't think/know that/if they're compatible. Perhaps you can buy one of those boxes plus the Lintronic Ir converter.

Die Sache mit "N.Music" und "N.Radio" ist wohl nur ein - lobenswerter - Nebeneffekt: Also bei mir läuft das Ding seit 5.02 endlich so wie es von Anfang an hätte laufen sollen; schaltet sich komplett in den Standby, wacht binnen 10-20s wieder auf etc.
