The news story about Alex is more than CNN. A google search comes up with Alex in several news sources. I have had an iPhone for a year and use it all the time. You do have a point. The stacking of these components could really be a unified design. However I still would need a cabinet for a cable box, Apple TV and whatever else comes along.

I think there was a hint the Beomaster 5 would be more like the Beocenter 2 socket unit or at least one can hope. Who said a media server had to be a big square box?

They do listen at B&O. I was annoyed that an internet radio station that I especially like was removed from the Beomedia 1 database. I received an email from Beocare who said they have added the station in question. Maybe there is a Beosound 5 in my future.

Thanks for everyone's help. All is well now. I unplugged everything overnight which apparently reset the speakers. There have been heavy thunderstorms here in Chicago which must have caused a power problem.
