The Apple TV conversion really isn't much of a pain - it's actually very good and IMO worth doing considering the cost vs. functionality side of things. Peter's option would be good though. An AirPort express would allow you to stream from iTunes etc... and control with your iPod Touch. The one downfall is that I'm (relatively) sure you can't choose

Yup! Won a pair of BeoLab 4s through the prize draw, it's worth every penny. Also, everything you see on this website is down to gold/silver members - without them, the site wouldn't exist. For example, there's a B&O Demo CD I've been looking for for quite some time now which features some stunningly good classical recordings. A quick post on BeoWorld

In a way but you've got to bear in mind, installing BeoLab 4000s and a BeoVision 7-40 could take up to double the time of a 7-40 with a BeoLab 7-2 - cables need to be hidden and in some cases, chased into walls. It simply wouldn't be practical.

Why the BeoLab 4000? This would actually cost quite a bit as it would require another mounting option (which wouldn't be free) and considerable extra installation time.

Currently listening to Harold Budd off internet radio (Drone Zone to be exact). Listening on my Sennheiser HD200s connected to my iMac - not exactly the best sounding setup but it's great for ambient music late at night!

There is a way of setting overscan etc... in the BeoSystem 3. I will find out!

No. You used to many years ago, but for the past 6 years or so, only the odd one or two Mac viruses have appeared which have all been eradicated pretty quickly.

Sorry - got the wrong end of the stick! Mods delete if they feel appropriate!

Craig: Alex: Not RDS - the current version has RDS! It's a 2300 with a DAB module, which resides in a separate box! Not many around I believe... Well done Alex you spotted my deliberate mistake. Craig Woop! Do I win a cookie?

Bear in mind the cost of essentially opening up new production lines for the aluminium parts/body parts which only fit the DVD-only version. Most people will still go for the DVD/BR-inc. version (I suspect, it's one of the BeoVision 7's strongest selling points).
