I agree completely with Craig - what many people don't fully realise is that Martin sells these sets really as a service to Beoworld members & makes very little (if any) profit on them. It really makes my blood boil when (some) people have inferred his belts & kits are a little pricey (personally I think they are outstanding value, especially

So the technology is not at all like the Beolab 8000's then? someone simply got a piece of tracing paper & laid it over some BL8000's & then drew their own version from it - except they couldn't

How often I have read this claim? "It is fully working - however it now needs a service or repair to the CD section which has just stopped playing". LINK

The CDX & CD50 are both quite similar sounding with the CDX being my personal favourite of the 2. It is probably due to the 14 bit oversampling which gives it a less obviously digital sound posessed by most other CD players. Pretty much like playing a perfect vinyl record which is a real boon to old fogies like myself who were raised on this media
