• M150's anyone?

A pretty decent pair on offer in Glasgow - not silly money either & I know Beoworlders are always on the lookout for them. A bit of TLC & they should come up really well & they include the all important stands. Chris.

  • If there was any doubt.....

..... about condition being everything then THIS BG3000 confirms it. A really lovely example & if Lee says it is good then it will be mint Most sellers struggle to get more than £40 for these in average condition. Chris.

  • Re: WANTED: belt Beogram CD5500/6500/7000 !!!

I agree completely with Craig - what many people don't fully realise is that Martin sells these sets really as a service to Beoworld members & makes very little (if any) profit on them. It really makes my blood boil when (some) people have inferred his belts & kits are a little pricey (personally I think they are outstanding value, especially

  • Re: Beo1 can be easily converted into a iMac remote
Any idea where I can source a Beo 1? I checked eBay and they have nothing!
I suspect Lee (the site owner) has at least a dozen of these being used as paperweights. Re :- the OP, at last a good use for the Beo1 which is pretty but also pretty useless as a B&O remote. Chris.

  • Re: Beolab 8000 "look alikes" from DK

I just love this quote from the description :- "The technology is similar to the Beolab 8000 speakers, however they are not powered amp". So the technology is not at all like the Beolab 8000's then? someone simply got a piece of tracing paper & laid it over some BL8000's & then drew their own version from it - except they couldn't

  • Fully working?

How often I have read this claim? "It is fully working - however it now needs a service or repair to the CD section which has just stopped playing". LINK

  • Re: Unbelievable CDX

The CDX & CD50 are both quite similar sounding with the CDX being my personal favourite of the 2. It is probably due to the 14 bit oversampling which gives it a less obviously digital sound posessed by most other CD players. Pretty much like playing a perfect vinyl record which is a real boon to old fogies like myself who were raised on this media
