I am not electrical genius, but apparently there is a capacitor that fails on the servo PCB. This can often be the problem. If you take it to B&O, they will tell you the laser needs replacing. How good are you electrically? If good, ask on the Workbench - the techies hang out down there!! If as useless as me, we might suggest someone helpful to

The Beolab 2 does take both and also applies a filter so that the lower frequencies are not passed to any attached speakers. A big advantage with some of the column speakers. If used in a home cinema set up, I would set the system up with just the LFE going to the PV1 and, yes, set up as one would with the BL2.

The manuals are all on site but you need to be a silver member to access them. Your problem would seem to be needing a new belt. That may be the only problem but it could also be that the motor needs servicing. If you ask on the Workbench, you may well get some more technical help. The laser is very robust and should be fine. The service manual is not
