There was a 'Magic Wand' remote control demonstrated on the UK 'Dragons Den' tonight. The 'inventors' got a big investment. Interestingly, it was a learning universal remote that could detect which way up it was and could control TVs or lights by waving it (like some of the remotes discussed in other threads including the Bickel
Hi, how can you tell if a Beovision 3-32 has anti-reflex coating or not?
The coating is on the outer face of the screen/ glass front and has a bluish tinge to it visible when the TV is switched off. The Avant and BV5 have fine slightly irregular horizontal lines in the coating visible with strong side lightling

Just one further thought: would a requirement to display a 'Powered by B&O' logo have been to B&Os benefit or detriment on the non B&O products using ICEpower? Graham

Another review link covering several manufacturers. Forget the power cable delusion/diversion! Are B&O getting enough credit for ICEpower? Are they using it in their own products to a sufficient level? If they are now behind some very 'respectable' niche and mass market amplifier manufacturers shouldn't there now be a large income stream

This review is dated by the give-away reference to the B&O medical section but it's just one example of how well Ice power amps have been received elsewhere in non-B&O branded products. Graham

Although 8 years old this is an interesting [and/or boring] paper on learning the functions of the Beo4 with a VCR Avant. Graham

Without precise dimensions it's difficult to add to this discussion but I suspect the advice to get a minimum of one screw into a vertical stud (and use proprietary fixings for the other two) is given for good reason. If there is, say 20mm between the top and bottom wall bracket holes, and the centre of gravity of the 10kg speaker is 150mm out from

Looks a great job, you must be very happy Lee. Shots of those B&O packing boxes are interesting, especially the labels that warn you to reset the voltage to 240V from the factory 230V setting. (Must be less critical than a US 110V warning....... presumably different warning labels were stuck on according to the original export destination.) Looking

I've got my white BM 2000 (1970's) mounted on a white Ikea 'Lack' shelf with invisible supports. Unfortunately the standard shelf isn't strong enough to take the weight of a Christmas card, so in my case one end is butted-up against a side wall where an extra support for the front edge of the shelf has been concealed.
