• Re: SP15 cartridge in MMC-design?

The SP15 cartridge was the first MMC20-like model. It was originally fitted to the Beogram 4000. It has the same specs as the MMC4000 and MMC20 EN -Søren

  • Re: Best furniture for B&O machines..

As a poor Danish student, I have to say that some Ikea furniture works well for B&O I currently use a discontinued model of the long running series of "lack" stereo/tv tables. Two tables together makes exactly the same amount of space that my Beomaster 8000 and Beogram 8002 takes, and I has space underneath for my 5500 components. Um,
It was just your day! The B&O gods were with you and your Beolab 5000. I once dropped an old Beomaster 8000 on my foot. The pain was killing me. Just a bit too much Danish overengineering for the averge foot.
Ouch! What was the damages? (on the Beomaster of course ) -Søren

  • Re: Funny stories from your spouse about B&O

I have a particular experience with my girlfriend when she first entered my listening room. It was the time, I had my Beosystem 6000 and two pairs of S-75's, one pair on original stands and one on a shelf. The first thing that she said was: "I won't help you getting these speakers moved if we are ever going to move together... The radio

  • Re: Simple question on Beomaster 8000

Sounds like a minor problem that easily can be fixed. The Beomaster was bought by a person who refurbishes all his B&O himself. I have managed to let him have a look at the Beomaster. -Søren

  • Re: Simple question on Beomaster 8000

In my opinion is the sound very distorted, especially in the high frequencies, no "clipping" light flashing, it doesn't matter if the filters are on or off. I have tried the Beomaster with different speakers, and the problem is reoccuring in the left channel. -Søren

  • Simple question on Beomaster 8000

Hello, yesterday I bought a fully functional Beomaster 8000. The only problem is a distortion problem in the left channel... Can it be defective electrolytic capacitors in the left channel? -Søren

  • Re: What are the best B&O items ever?

Beomaster 8000, Beomaster 4400 or The Beogram 4000 series. Can't decide from those three Great sound quality! Great design! Great functionality! -Søren

  • Re: Hvilken Beogram?
