[quote user="linder"] [quote user="TripEnglish"] This is true. The BeoSound 5 encore is almost less exciting than the Beo 6. Most of the trouble I had selling the BeoSound 5 was not the ability to connect to a NAS, stream from iTunes, or mount a thumb-drive, but navigation in link rooms. At the end of the day it's nice to see

Yes, Beofab, this is correct. It is a widescreen 2-way Beo 5. It also sets the stage for MLGW updates to give feedback on lighting, shades, hvac, security, etc. The first major feature, though, will be the BeoSound 5 "module" wherein you can scroll through lists or flip through album covers to browse your collection and play exactly what you'd

This little guy is in a production stop right now. If I were you I'd establish the fault with your dealer, but I'm not sure they've got the right fix locked down yet. If this thread is still around I'll note when I hear of something.

Not an easy way. The BeoSystem 3 based TVs have a DVI output that runs straight to the projector along with the ability to control the projector and seamlessly switch between the two. It's the sort of feature many pay for and don't use. If it's your intention to set this up, you may be one of the people for whom the BeoVision 7 makes sense

Elephant, you and I are in complete agreement on this. I'm beginning to feel that our price-point, even more than our shortcomings in software design, is really what's keeping us from being relevant in this arena. Even if we got it right, it would be "late fall/early winter of 2010 right" I don't think there's a way to put
