Not much help I know as I don't know the spec' of the BV7. The fact that the ATV can't connect via scart has come as a shock to quite a few, but a bit of investigation into the product would have told you. Anyway, why not search the spec of the BV7 on the net to see if component input capability is standard or an upgrade? Also, why not ring

Razlaw: bayerische: Sure there are always people with too much money, but for the middle class, that used to have to financial power to buy a Beo TV, let's say an Avant, can only dream of buying a top of the line Beo TV today. It will cost as much as a second car to the family, or perhaps even more. I have said this before and will say it again

Just as there has been much discussion on the merits or otherwise of B&O's picture quality and VFM in comparison with those of the larger manufacturers, I read today that Sky television has successfully tested 3D TV, able to be received on existing Sky HD receivers. There will of course be the need to have a 3D capable TV, examples of which

kallasr: I had a BM 4500 before and as far as I remember you don't need a rc to set the stations. You can use the panel of the BM to do so. Just look at this. Ralf You're correct, but it would be nice to be able to search/scan/ radio stations and store from the Beo4 something which was possible with the 1000.

Doc: Why does it has to take so long before a B&O BlueRay arrives....................? Sigh.......... My guess is they're waiting for BluRay to be on the way out to introduce it, just as a new technology is on the way in!

Jandyt: I'm so glad somebody bought that up! With all the hype about Beosound 5, it seems Beocom 5 has got shoved in a corner. I will almost definately be getting one when it comes round! Andy T. Oh no, it's Beosound 5 again!! I now fully expect posts with "what will it be like?", "are there any photos?" for the coming months

As with all speakers, the speaker should be mounted so that the tweeter is at the same height as your ears when seated in your normal listening position. For my RL60s, I originally wall mounted them so I didn't purchase them with stands. Later I purchased some speaker stands (non B&O) and adapted them to hold the speakers. Since that time I

Firstly, let me be clear, I am NOT recommending this Samsung set, I refer to it only as an example of a very latest model in the UK market:- http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/detail/features.do?group=television&type=television&subtype=tftlcd&model_cd=LE55A956D1MXXU The 46" & 50" models retail for about 1500 & 2300 GBP

ed7: propaganda: My personal view is that once the speed of change in the AV world slows as flat screens/HD technologies become more mature, B&O will be able to differentiate themselves again on both design & quality. It has been difficult for them recently as they have to buy in technology which is already out of date by the time they deploy

TripEnglish: I think someone needs to check their math. The BeoVison 4-65 is currently $13,500 USD. The current commercial Panasonic model is $8,900 USD. That's roughly a 35% premium. The VW Touareg starts at $39,300 USD and the Porsche Cayenne S starts at $59,900 USD. That's, uh, about 35%. I think we need to dial down the 1000% increase arguments
