Hi there is plays SD DVD and functions fine with CD;s and any downloaded trailers. its only blurays it seems to freeze up on after a few mins and reports a invalid disk. i am not bothered in the slightest about ps2 compatibility. so i may get a refurb one but £150 goodness me, is the problem the drive then do we think?

I have disabled the DTV in my Mk3 and use it for ATV now. I am looking forward to being able to use TV also then i dont need to use format to access any sources. i believe i heard the new software allows you to assign TV also but u can run into a problem when the PIN is required as TV is the only source which asks for a pin.

Hello All Last night i went to blockbusters as always and rented some bluray films My ps3 stopped dead during a film with, this is an invalid disk (8002 9906) I called sony and they said to restore to factory settings this has not fixed it. The want £150 to swap the unit over for a new one (refurb with 3 months warentee) which is not very good

Hello All £1000+ to update a BV7 mk3 to bluray and it has no ethernet for software updates. £1000+ to fit a bluray player into a 9k tv. Shocking
