• Re: Infos an new products for 2009/10 in the german forum

I wonder if the new audio concept (mp3 player support for link room) is something along the lines of the BS1 with MasterLink capability (that many on this forum have wished for over the years). Stan

Thanks Puncher and 10 Percent. This MOTS discussion has been an interesting. To the earlier "Genius" suggestion, I haven't bothered with "Genius" for a couple reasons. First, I'd rather not upgrade iTunes because, from time to time, I've had problems with BM-Link "getting lost" in my iTunes library. BM-Link

No. The BM-Link only sends sound into the BeoPort, not the other way around. I *think* BeoPlayer can do this. Stan

  • Re: Old vinyl onto a new mac

I use a program called "Sound Studio" that came with my early Mac Mini. I record 1 side at a time, then split. Recording and splitting is not the hard part. The hard part is typing all the tags when I import them into iTunes. Stan
I think thats wrong, the AAC lossless is not supported. Is an "Apple standard", I think if you check here that some feel that MP3 320 is the way to go. I personally share that opinion. File size is OK, sound should be good to for casual listening. If you run BL5s I would certainly reconsider and go WMA lossless
Am I wrong in thinking you can "party shuffle" within playlists in iTunes? Does this help you do what you want? (Just select your required playlist from the "source" tab).
You are correct that "party shuffle" works within playlists. The problem is that it is up to me to create the

Yesterday, I would have said NO. Today, I'm not so sure... I played with it in the store, and my wife *loved* it. It is really cool in person. I have my music on Apple + BeoPort, but my wife has never figured out how to use it. Also, I only have "my" music on it because I like to use "party shuffle" as a budge MOTS (and hit "next

According to the website, it supports WMA, WMA-lossless, MP3, WAV and AAC. I would assume AAC is also includes "loseless" AAC, but then again, I'm not 100% sure since they do spell out "WMA-lossless" separate from WMA (but, then, knowing Microsoft, it wouldn't surprize me if WMA-lossless was different from WMA). Personally

  • Re: How to save Bang & Olufsen

Funny, I was just going to write "with whom has Apple ever cooperated?"... and now I see they have actually cooperated with another company, once - Nike. Although I'm not familiar with this Nike product, I assume it has something to do with shoes. Shoes and computers - probably a good bet that they'll not be competing in the future

I bought a 2nd BeoSound 3 for my bedroom. New sales price + $100 off was a "deal" I couldn't pass up. It was actually my wife's idea. Stan
