I believe they were the same as the ones on the S45-2 http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=666 There is a crossbar attaching to the upright at the back with hole at either end and bolts that go into he corresponding holes at the back of the speaker. Simon

The 'spade and pin' connectors you are referring to are 2-pin DIN connectors, you need male for the speakers and female for the Beomaster. They are available from Maplin in the UK. I bought my iPod Dock connector from eBay. Simon

I agree that unless you are going for a big screen HD is largely pointless. You may wish for something smaller than your Avant but that is a CRT vs Flatscreen issue not an HD vs SD one! Simon

Another vote for the S45-2's! I bought a couple of fairly grubby pairs for very little money from a local ebay seller when I first started buying older B&O at the beginning of last year. I had bought them as a stop-gap assuming I would upgrade to something better before too long. I have now restored them from their previous shabby condition

Steve at Sounds Heavenly: Two RedLine 60 speakers mounted on the front wall of the living room, either side of the fireplace, at a height (measured at the middle where the tweeters are) of 165cm (5 feet 5), with the speakers pointing inwards to a point about 30cm in front of my listening position. Have you tried the obvious, i.e turning it off at the wall, waiting a couple of minutes and then turning it on again? Simon havenboy: The only thing I can think with this is that there si a timer set somewhere to record a certain amount of the record onto tape, and it only runs to this timer as hwen I start the record in the middle it still stops before
