I just can't understand why people still want docks. I see the usefulness in a second house, where you come with just your iPhone and have your source of music, but for a main house/flat, I just don't understand... It's like recording tapes of your prefered CDs to listen to them in your bedroom chen you can

"I also believe that stephan has different behavior because of the BV in the setup. Stan" I`m afraid, that Stan is right here. Really strange.....You have to buy a 12k BV7 - assumed you have a 4k BS9000 - to make use of your 5k BS5 volume wheel? I can`t believe it! And I can`t see a reason, why this works with a Beovision, but not in an audio

Yes, I think it is a product from lfd, called "ibundo", prized at 189.- Euros (375 GBP...?!) Bosscom is the dealer for Scandinavia. And it is definitely NO Beo product.... Stefan

Powerlink inputs of Beolabs are unbalanced line level. But you can connect a balanced signal. Just solder a bridge between 1 - 3 (gnd / sig-) in the XLR plug and make an XLR - DIN adapter . If you don`t want that, because all the signal chain will become unbalanced, connect a balanced-unbalanced converter (XLR - RCA) between the sub out and the BL3

"I found out that a.tape2 is n.music on my BS9000;" A.TAPE2 is the same as N.MUSIC - PHONO is N.RADIO. "how can I manage to change the volume?" In my setup I have a BS9000 - audiomaster in A.OPT 0, a BV7-40 MKIII - videomaster in V.OPT2 and BS as no audiomaster with Beolabs connected to BV7. I can control volume via BS5 wheel. I

The PHONO- ( or N.RADIO) button is in the LIST function. If you press LIST several times you will find additional functions. If you press LIST several times and PHONO - or N.RADIO is displayed just press GO and your BM should power up in PHONO mode. If you don`t find these buttons in the list you must add it. Pres and hold STANDBY - press LIST - now
-
Yes it`s possible. You will find a PHONO button in the list, if your Beo4 is one of the very early ones. If it`s a newer one you can use the N.RADIO button, it`s the same IR command. Stefan
