For me the essential is a Beosound 3000 or 3200. I recently traded my 3200 for a BS9000, and i think deep down i miss the 3200, i miss waving my hand in front of the doors and i miss the look of it. Do you have the infra red eye from the STB stuck to the infra red reciever of the Sky box? If so unstick it and leave it danggling over front of sky box and try that. I only suggest this as mine will only work if there is a gap between STB and Sky box. This is only a thought and may not work, but give it a try.
