  • Re: HDR1 - Schematic Diagram?

The modern service manuals don't have decent schematics in as they are repaired using module replacement. Rather disappointing!

  • Re: Setup Problems....

It is an internal module. It activates as V.Aux which is not ideal. The Avant works much better with Sky in my opinion.

No. You would have to attach the Sky+ to the AV9000. You will need an STB-C in the AV9000 - they are apparently no longer made though. This is a big problem with the AV9000 - I use mine as a separate system with a second Sky box.

  • Re: Newbie needs step by step advice

The user and reference manuals for the Beosystem 2 are on site for silver and gold members. In essence, connect all the speakers to the Beosystem 2 . The sockets at the back are marked . The DVD player will connect to the AV socket and set it as Video Aux. The Beosystem 2 will need the IR eye attaching and the BS9000 will attach using an ML lead. You

BarryAndrew: joeyboygolf Don't understand your comments at all! However I will not try and convince you of my argument any more. Two small points though. One is repetition -- ALL my a-v equipment is B&O not just some of it and if I choose to go in a different direction it doesn't mean that I don't enjoy B&O. Second is that you have

  • Re: Sky+ problem

Not had a problem with this. I just put in the longest single delay and it works. Is the IR blaster in the right spot on the Sky+ box? Which Sky+ box are you using. I now have a Pace which is so much better than my old Amstrad that it hurts! Quiet, quick and reliable. There is a chap on eBay who sells them for about £100 - I bought one when the

  • Re: Connecting B&O equipment

That would seem to be a well matching selection. The 4000 is a most interesting device as it is the only double cassette B&O marketed. Extremely pleasing design and matches the 3500 well. A friend of mine had one with a CDX and Redline speakers. Sounded really quite impressive though a little bass heavy for my liking due to the built in loudness

  • Re: Connecting B&O equipment

Actually not a great combination as the 3500 has an RIAA built in as does the 4000. You will need to use the Aux input. You can unscrew the 2 extra pins and use a 5 pin to RCA lead. You also need an earth lead from the casing of the Beogram DIN plug to the earth on the 4000.

  • Re: How to move from all B&O to some B&O

I don't have a problem with this - but clearly I cannot advise on other makes the way I can on B&O and the same will go for many members. Therefore asking about other makes will be interesting but don't expect many educated answers. Maybe report back once it is working.
