Nice pair of M100s! Lots of bass and they will go as loud as the amplifier will let them. The limiting factor is the pre-amp in the 7000 which is good but not great. I would suggest that Beolab 4000s resemble a 30-40W amplifier powered speaker. Very nice though - I have a couple of pairs.

Just in case anyone was misled by the news article, the draw will be held at 8.30 tomorrow! (Friday) PrizeDrawBot still had a bit of the Millennium bug present and had not realised that it was a leap year. He is being reprogrammed as we speak - with a lump hammer.

So this is the one time I would suggest leaving a cartridge in place. The MMC20 range is a lot tougher though you have to be careful in this case with the end of the arm. If you have any way of picking the

Tim Jarman at Beocentral has one! (I gave it to him!) He might accept an offer if you ask nicely! A lot easier to get a terminal 5000 though!

I thought the bottom plate was metal. I don't have mine with me, but I would be surprised if it was plastic. My old one will be up for grabs soon! I am dispersing my collection which is in France at present.

If it is a MMC20S, 1.5g would be better. Check all the transit screws are undone fully.

Possible, but why does it work with the video? Have you set the options correctly? On a BL1000, Sound 0 Store, Picture 2 Store
