They are quite different and the connections mean that the Earset Home cannot be used with a mobile.

As far as I have seen, they all do it! As you say, it is only when there is no disc loaded.

On the BV7-40 - I think that this is the bargain in the range. Compare it to the Avant DVD and the price is not that outrageous, you have all the connections anyone could want, the DVD player is built in and of good quality and the sound processor is excellent. It does not have the best screen available but it has an excellent compromise which works

The drive units are listed as the same sizes but they do seem to differ in some respects. The tweeters seem to differ markedly and even the woofers have different part numbers. The answer would seem not too likely without surgery and then the crossover will need to be changed.

If you have the tray locks I think you will be fine. Never had the tray insert myself!

The deck has pretty basic suspension and I don't think it locks. It is not a sprung sub chassis like the later models. The Ambio facility uses the differences between the two main channels to produce a 'presence' channel which is fed to rear speakers - usually smaller than the fronts and this gives a basic type of surround sound. It works

Tricky! One of the TVs will need to be the master and the other the slave. You can only access master sources in other rooms, not slave sources. Obviously you can use the Sat receiver as a radio source so the bit you are going to miss is the DVD. I would suggest that you need another DVD player - to be frank, using the DVD player via Masterlink and

I would check the sensor - see if it has become dislodged a little first. If you stop the arm, it should drop when asked!
