Soundproof- What a great description in your initial post to this thread! I agree completely. I, too, am hoping that B&O will take notice of Apple's advancements. While Macs cost more than PCs and have a smaller market share in general, the market share becomes MUCH greater among the demographics of higher-income households. For those of us

I have my Apple TV connected to my Avant through the component input. However, after it has been outputting a signal for awhile, everything takes on a pink hue. I contacted B&O tech support and they advised that this is a common problem with early Avants. There is a kit to fix the problem, but I'm sure the repair would be quite costly. I've

It seems that the the moderators moved this thread from the Beo5 forum. I initiated this thread intentionally in the Beo5 forum to generate discussion about the Beo5.

It's in the new "applications" section of the iTunes Music Store. How brilliant to use wi-fi as the solution for 2-way remote communication. I wish B&O had incorporated something similar into the Beo5.

Indeed, I have found the Beocentral site to be a great source of information on products. It provides detailed and frank discussions of the merits and shortcomings of products, as well as pointing out differences in models and the evolution of various models.

I have a Beolab 10 with the silver trim. The trim is actually on the removable speaker grill. Therefore, it will be very easy to change this in the future. The front grill attaches with large pegs similar to those of the newer, metallic beolab 2500 grills. This will make is so much easier to change than the frets on a beolab 6000.

With firmware update 2.35, the PS3 can now finally output DTS-HD, too.
