I have a similar problem with my V+ box is that It sometimes will not turn on! I have to moved and restuck the ir eye. The channels change fine, but most of the time it will not turn on it will switch off no problem.... Any ideas??

Hi Graham I had one of the last avants as well, I had my chip upgraded a few months back. It cost around £70 and will control sky+ topfield, apple tv and loads more later stuff there is a thread on here from a while stating what it controls

The whole idea for the curtains was so they would open when the picture is ready and the sound would rise to! Do you turn your sky box off at the wall? Is that why it takes so long for the picture to work?
