I have a Beomaster 6000, the 80's one, and would like to connect it to my CD7000. Could some one tell me if its possible. I am sure i is but dont want to connect it to the wrong socket and find I damage either of them. I take it that remote control is a no no with these two units. The Beomaster does have the remote module but it cant control the

From what I have seen there are no non RF Avant service manuals on this site they are all for the RF versions. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Just buy another avant! Far cheaper than a new tube

My Avant DVD's picture is not as good as it should be after a few moves around the house due to builders doing work here and from reading the forums it seems like the coils might have slipped a bit. What is the rough cost for a service on an Avant to get this sorted. I might try and get the builders to pay for it but if its not too bad I will pay

Replacements are about £30 each from B&O if I remember correctly. Its well worth it though as you then have a pair of speakers that will last you years.

Just a quick question. I have recently got an Avant for my bedroom. Its a 28 inch 50hz model. I was suprised to find that it runs xbox360 games in 60hz. Is this normal or has it been updated somehow. My MX5500 couldn't and I was suprised that the Avant did.

Its a 28". Basically I presume you can remove the black plastic trim from around the screen. I have so far been unable to do this. Is it possible and does the glass screen come off after that.

Is it possible to remove the contrast screen on a curved screen Avant? Mine's a bit grubby and I would like to give it a clean. Is it just brute force on the plastic sorround and I am being too careful. Thanks
