Razlaw: Sorry, how do I use the powerlink Y ? Do I connect it to one of the front speakers "out" on the Avant and the connect the sub and one Beolab 9 to it? If you put the powerlink Y-cable in left or right output socket on your Avant. Then connect one Bl 9 to the Y-cable and then BL2 to the other Y-connector. then plug in the other BL9 as

dbitalia: I have heared when using the DVI input for hd material on bv7 it does not run the image thru the B&O image processor, its basically outputting directly from the source, is this the case?? You mentioned in this thread when you hooked up your PS3 to your fathers BV 7-40 the picture looked fantastic. So if you are pleased to that picture,

dbitalia: Yea my dad has the BV7-40 HD I should go for the BV 7-32 without the Beolab 7-1 or 7-4 speaker. Then the price decrease with 3800 US Dollars. So with the stand and BV 7-32 the price would be: 8525.12 US Dollars. The BV 7-32 Mk III have 1200:1 in contrast ratio against 1000:1 in the BV 7-40= a slightly better picture i think.

dbitalia: I'm thinking of purchasing a beovision 8 and have heard rumours that it will soon be available in 32", can anyone confirm this?? also has anybody seen a beovision 8 in action. My dad has a beovision 7 and I hooked up my ps3 to it and was blown away by the quality and sharpness of the image I was seeing, I mean I played the same game

moxxey: Beolab: I'm just little tired of hearing that the old BV 7-40 MKII are rubbish, and the new one MKIII is the best and more and more. No-one said that. The 'old' TV is still a quality TV. Even my old 2004 model BV7-32, with a HD source, is absolutely fantastic. Better than a friends' new Samsung 32". However, my BV7-32 only

ClausOslo: The sad thing is that you pay $10000 for a TV set that has worse pic quality than sets that cost $2000... I had mine for a week, and sold it as fast as possible. I'm just little tired of hearing that the old BV 7-40 MKII are rubbish, and the new one MKIII is the best and more and more. Thats all. Best regards Fredrik L.
