In the US, the BeoSystem 3 (in all forms) ships with both analog and digital tuners. PJ, when you have the time, I'd like to talk to you about this bridge I have for sale in NYC. Russ

Christian, I'm pretty certain that Trip is referring to the BeoSystem 3, which (without launching into an exhaustive description) can be most easily understood as a 'surround sound processor'. Alexv, you should definitely check into it! Russ

Beolab: Yes, but it´sad that B&o are using the selling "argument" why the tv is so expensive?:. It´s because of the panel are custom made for b&o and you cant´find it in other brands. And if a brand should use this special panel, the TV set would cost the same or more as the Bv7 etc... Thats all a lie.. And when you

Indubitably, old bean! I say. Russ

Razlaw, Ask the dealer/instaler to bring along their service laptop computer, or schedule a second visit. If your BV-7 is already allocated to you and shipping, then it is highly unlikely that it has already had software installed which was just made available Wednesday. Possible, but unlikely. Russ

moxxey: jk1002: True, but then take a look at the BV 7-40. Similiar expensive but still seems to be a decent value compared to the rest of the range. When I first looked at the Avant, it was 10,000$. Now, may years later, the BV7 is around 14K here in the US. I somehow feel that is reasonable. Actually considering currency fluctuations teh BV7 seems

CMM-10 was the DVD-1 of CD players. I don't know if it was US-only or not; but it is pretty rare. It is, at heart, a 2nd geration Sony Car 10-disc CD changer, for which B&O created an interface box which translated DataLink into whatever commands Sony was using. So you must have an Audio Master with DataLink, which eliminates all of the modern

Hi Diggs, Welcome to BeoWorld, and the B&O 'family'. Just remember, we kid because we love! You should have no trouble connecting your cable box, just as you've done. You will need to 'register' the equipment with the Beosystem 1 so that it knows what to look for. With the system on, press 'menu-menu-go' on the Beo4 remote
