  • Re: Beomaster 6000 quad! Good price?

You should! I'm sure you won't be disappointed. I really like listening to mine through MC120.2s :) And if you need any reassurance, check this 6000 Quad out on UK eBay. It looks like it has been salvaged from the Irish Sea!

If everything works then £60 is a steal! I paid £50 for mine and not much of it was working. Because of the complexity, repair was something like £130ish, so once shipping and petrol was factored in we are looking at nearly £220. I say go for it, but don't be surprised if something is not working. It is virtually impossible

For close to £300 I would expect any alarm/remote/flute hybrid to give me a warning when it is about to go flat. It just confirms to me what an utterly useless product this is. Hopefully this won't herald a new era for the company because if it does then they're in trouble.

Perhaps the most discrete of the wide table radios - wanted one of these for ages. I have no connection with the seller, but the Beomaster 5000 tuner I bought from him a couple of months ago was/is excellent so I'm sure you'll not be disappointed Simon :)

Dear Beoworld Big thanks to whoever deleted the handbags at thirty paces thread in the eBay forum. Having spent 20 minutes skillfully crafting a witty and erudite right of reply to some of the postings in the thread, in which I reached out to Graham and everyone else I have ever marginally offended on this forum, imagine my dismay to find that upon
