  • Re: Some news from the dealer conf in the french forum

I read the news in the French forum also and learned a few words. I had to lookup sablier for the description of the Beocom 5. How often does one talk about an hour glass? The new phone does sound interesting. I was especially glad to read that iTunes is supported in the Beosound 5. Without iTunes, I wouldn't have considered BS5. Maybe the sheep

  • Re: beolab 3 mkII???

I have Beolab 3 MKI and enquired about upgrading to MKII. The cost to do the upgrade was $1800.00 USD. The high cost they said was due to a change in the manufacturing process and that most of the components would have to be replaced. I was absolutely astounded and of course decided it wasn't worth the cost. Its probably true that a change in supplier

  • Re: Whiter than us!

Clever sheep. However sometimes in the distant past a limited edition of a B&O product meant end of production was near. The white Beosound 9000 will be the hot item on ebay in 2018! I am ready for the Beosound 5. Where is it?

Hmmm....maybe it is a special introductory version of the Beosound 5. B&O did something similar with the introduction of the Beosound 1.

The Sony Sountina is an amazing design. There is an official website in Japanese but you can easily figure it out. http://www.sony.jp/products/Consumer/AV-HiFi/sountina/ It was demonstrated in London and other places. It is also mentioned in many websites. Search for sony sountina.

jk1002: They could take old products back regardless where it was bought. They definitely have enough money to do so. JK I don't want to get caught in a discussion about carbon footprint and the environment but I do want to point out what Apple will do for its customers when recycling. I recently bought a new MacBook Air which I really like. I then

  • Re: Normal Dealer Protocol?

Price lists should be available online. Automobile prices are online as well as other companies. If B&O is afraid people will think American prices are less expensive, remind everyone, American prices do not include taxes which are set locally.

  • Re: Normal Dealer Protocol?

I purchased B&O products at two different dealers in Paris and thought the service was very good. I bought a Serene phone in Paris and after I return to the US, about 3 days later, I received a telephone call from the Paris dealer asking if everything was okay and was I happy with the product.
