i don't know why sony get so much stick on this forum , i've had sony tv's since the early 70's and they've all been superb in the 80's we had a sony profeel 27" which at the time was arguably the best tv in the world , yes better than any bno ! i now have 3 x bravias around the house and can say that on hd they all look

Richard Ridyard: This is true but compared to some of the other LCD T.V's on the market it is slim not forgetting how much technology is in it. so much hi-tech but freeview , which is standard issue on every tv set around , is an optional extra ? it's little obvious things like that , not dvd trays that can lift an elephant that really matter

The Beonic Man: TripEnglish: Brother Jangles, your words have warmed my heart. The BeoVision 7 does truly align my chakra in a very cosmic way. Much love to my BeoBrothers. Hey trip, I love your sense of humour! I want to reply to a recent post about BV7 owners defending their product choice. Personally, when I first bought my BV7-40 I posted the first

all bno have to do in the short term is address the silly little things that should really be standard on sets as advanced ( and costly ) as they are hdmi and freeview every bno tv should have freeview as standard when sold in the uk and every bno tv should have at least 2 hdmi's - do you really want to put up with the dvi cludge or have some ridiculous

A14BEO: moxxey: Flappo, I think you're starting to lose all credibility. Time to move on, I think. Didn't you just say in another thread, yesterday, that you were considering a BV7-40? I agree - and please stop calling Bang & Olufsen "bno" - it's hugely annoying!!!! i'm sorry , but you openly admit to driving an alfa romeo

it doesn't help when bno tv's are basically rebadged panasonics and samsungs with ic's as cheap as they are now - i'm sure for £50 you could get all the super duper algorithm watchamacallit a/v twaddle on one easily obtained oem chip once upon a time bno were expensive but in many ways cutting edge now they're just expensive

if i was going to buy a new tv - it might be a bv7 40 but unfortunately i'd have to use it with all my sony pvr gear as the bno alternative is overpriced and technically inept not having a built in dvb option is inexcusable in this day and age - analogue simply sin't worth recording the whole thing would look an unsightly mess - a lot like my

Coolskin: I skipped reading all posts before this one. i think that says it all , really

ask the beonic man how he feels about his 7/40 - from what i've gleaned he's not very satisfied at all tbh i can't see any v in the current range worthy of replacing my avant the avant was arguably the ultimate tv in it's day as well as being not only pretty advanced but actually rather 'good value' , something bno seemed to
