I`m using the LG BD 390 player. Can be controlled via PUC, decodes HD audio, can distribute digital and analog video and audio simultaneously for linkrooms, plays HD movies from USB disc/stick or via network, very fast starting up, so the electronic curtain makes sense...YouTube function...looks great, especially via the projector on the screen... You need a BD player that can decode HD audio by itself. Decoded HD audio will be sent via HDMI - doesn`t work via spdif - as multichannel PCM to your Beovision. Set the audio input of the AV port to HDMI. Now the Beovision should receive decoded HD audio as multichannel PCM. This is how it works with a BV7-40 MKIII and an LG BD player. Might be different

It`s also connected via ethernet to the airport extreme station, so I can use the YouTube function and play HD movies from an USB disc connected to the airport station. I found an "OPPO DV981" player in the list PUC sources of the Beo5 config. tool. Maybe they use the same remote/codes....? Kann eigentlich nicht sein. Wenn du N.MUSIC anwählst, schaltet der BV ein, heisst, die rote Standby LED geht aus, und N.MUSIC erscheint rechts oben auf dem Display. Der Stand bewegt den BV in den Audio Mode, und der Bildschirm bleibt dunkel. Stefan
