  • Re: New Iphone app for Bang & Olufsen

This was made available in the Apple store last month and is a very nice App. However, it is only useable with the Masterlink Gateway, but you can use the demo mode to see how it is intended to work.

  • Re: Avant 32 DVD fault

David, I am assuming that the unit previously played CD’s and DVD’s without problem ? I am also assuming that it fails the same way with any disk placed in the drive ? Based on the symptoms you have provided, then the drive circuit is most likely loosing clock pulses generated when reading the disk. When you switch off and on again it will

  • Re: Upgrading the STB chip in an Avant

The task of changing the chip is not "dangerous" but does need care. You will need an anti-static mat and wrist strap particularly important if your AVANT is in a room with carpet and you are wearing leather shoes for example. • Re: BV7-32 and DTV

Andy, You say you have quite a few issues with your Beovision 7-32 other then the one you highlighted, it would be worth stating what the other issues are in case they are linked to the issue you have hightlighted. So, your are watching Freeview, is that via a set top box or the internal DVB-T module ? Is the Beovision 7 connected to any other B&O

  • Re: Polarity of C7 Connector

I don't remember seeing any B&O products with a polorised C7 connector, all the B&O products I can think of which use C7 connectors are un-polorised. As far as I am aware there is no actual spec for the wiring of these polorised plugs. They are rated at 2.5 amps max on 250 volts and intended for double insulated products such as set top

  • Re: Home automation & Projectors for BV 7

With regards to projectors, the only ones which B&O formally approve at present are the Samsung SP H700 and SIM2 HT300 PLUS which are shown in the connections menu on the Beovision 7 In terms of controlling external 3rd party products from the Beovision 7-32 or 7-40 you can purchase a Cinema Control Module to control curtains, lighting and motorised

  • Re: Home automation & Projectors for BV 7

When it comes to projectors and home automation in general integrated with B&O products, this falls under the umbrella of Beoliving and only a few dealers are provided with the detailed technical information required for these customer opportunities. The B&O strategy is to focus on the bigger fully integrated projects and effectly manage them
