The Gap issue happens with MP3 and AAC. If you record wav gapless it doesn't happen, that is true. Trouble is, you can't do WAV from an Apple Mac and many of us do use just that. JK

The trouble with these "designed" PCs is that they often do look good on pictures but then when you get them it's cheap plastic or something else throws off the experience. Touch means fingerprints, I am already annoyed with the aluminum on the BC2 even though thats manageable. Ipod Wheel and BS5 concept are in my opinion the way to go

MP3 and AAC have typically the gap. WAV which I assume you may have does not have that. Apple did something within Ipod & Itunes to remove the gap digitally and stitch the songs together ....

I actually was happy with the Airport Express DAC. It certainly beat line out .... would I drive BL5 with it? No. But most speakers should be fine. The piece that messes up sound the most in my opinion is bad recording quality on many CDs that are released.

Missing Gapless and missing 2 way is actually while I am holding off buying a BS5. My Apple TV has both and while I would love to have MOTS and better integration into my B&O setup I wait it out and listen to CDs. Not happy with Apple either as my Itunes Library keeps loosing cover art.

Des mit Avi kann ich nachvollziehen. Kannst Du die files nicht konvertieren? Ich selber konvertiere alles mit Handbrake auf meinem Mac und reduziere so die file size auf 1GB und less pro Film. Muss man aber nicht, ganze DVDs spielt er wohl auch der ATV. Ich denk ein bisschen kompromissbereit sein muss man immer, ich selbst schaue Filme auf meinem Ipod
