Far too expensive. Should be about $60 if in good condition. These are not uncommon and are hard to shift, at least in the UK. A 3000 Thorens would be a different matter!

I don't think the Beogram 7000 will connect to the 7-40 and be controllable as it relies on Datalink for the control, which has not be part of any modern B&O for sometime. To do this, you really need a Beomaster such as the 7000 and a Beolink converter. You might be able to do something with an MCL2AV but I think you will then need a MCL/ML

The latest version of the Beoplayer iOS would seem to be available and the paid version with alarm clock and 13000 radio channels is also there - for £9.49. Reviews of this are less than enthusiastic at present I am afraid!

Unfortunately not an uncommon problem. You can try one trick though no guarantee. Take you defective cartridge and look at the pins coming out of the back. These can loosen, particularly in the newer cartridges. If one looks a little further out, you need to tap it gently with a small hammer. This might re-establish contact. If it works, never take

Depends on the outputs of your TV. If it has pre-amp out, nothing. Otherwise it will be either a pre-amp or attenuated cables.

Could you scan the BG3000 for me please! And the BC6000. We don't have these on site .
