What would you most like to see introduced by B&O next? Let your imagination run riot! I want an unfurling TV screen - something that could be very small and yet expand to a big screen. The furled shape could be futuristic and based on aluminium and the unfurling mechanism could be the magic touch - as said before, I see a flower opening in my mind

I take it that the set in the main room is not a B&O or you could just masterlink it. I control my Sky+ which is in the living room from the bedroom that way. I don't think you will have any problem extending the IR blaster wire - mine is actually about 10m I believe. However the scart will be more of a problem as these should really be kept

Variety of bug fixes - Version 3 fixed problems with the picture in link rooms and audio problems when Speaker 5 was selected when listening to an audio source. 3.1 fixed a problem with Teletext. Version 4.0 is the big one and fixes all sorts of silly little faults and helps prevent crashes. Also offers support for the Beolab 10! 4.12 adds the sharpness

The envelope should contain the circuit diagram. It is not the complete service manual. That is a rather more sizeable document! It is on site for silver and gold members. How useful it is depends a bit on how good you are at electronics! No use to me except that it tells you how to take it apart!

The cueing mechanism does use the motor to drive it. I wonder id a good clean would help?

They are glued but should pop out using a blunt flat blade. The difficulty will be reproducing the logo once you have resprayed the speaker.

linder: steph: Is there anybody who knows the difference between the steel and the aluminium version of the BeoCenter 2 ? It's impossible to see the difference in the pictures and i never saw the 2 side by side. I'm planning to buy this unit but i would like to know the difference. Is it just a question of color (the steel version is darker

Very good of you! I'll pin this!
-
That will be fine. What model of RIAA have you found as knowing one with a DIN socket would be useful?
-
Just a different colour really.
