  • Re: BeoLink PC 2 / BM Link

You cannot access other products on the Mac. You should be able to use the Beo4 to switch the Beolink on and off and change the volume though. You should also be able to control N.Music in the other rooms and depending on the type of equipment you have, get a good display of artist, track, genre and album. Get an iPod Touch and Remote Buddy, and you

  • Re: Which Beogram does MMC 4000 go on?

They have the same fitting as the MMC20 range so the Beograms from the Beogram 4000 until the MMC1-5 came in. Soundsmith have a list of which cartridge fits which deck, which is pretty accurate.

  • Re: Beolink 7000, "noise"

Obviously noises vary, but mine makes a high pitched noise as well - I think it is actually the blue screen. It has always done this - I have had it since new!

  • Re: Serenata Beosound 6 - problems transferring music in itunes

Agree! I had a play with one before they were released and before the iTunes fix was released. Set to Mass storage and dragged the music there. Worked fine! It worked with MP3 but not AAC - I don't know if they have allowed AAC now!

  • Re: Tone Arm Missing Record on Beogram 6500

I don't have a deck in front of me but I think you just need to take off the top platter. Under this is a sub-platter with a card cover. Take off the card cover, and the adjustment cam is as shown in the manual. Small tweak, put it all back on and see where it drops now! Probably take a couple of goes to get it just right!

  • Re: Connecting BeoLab 8000

Depends on your TV. If it has pre-amp out connections, phono connections are fine.

  • Re: my Beo5 arrived and now I also need help programming it properly

I think you have misunderstood me - I meant that not many people are actually programming the Beo5 themselves as they find it doesn;t work. Hopefully the new software, now out, can help. I think this forum offers a usually very quick response and answers many queries. Have you found a quicker B&O forum?

  • Re: Question: BeoVox Penta, Beocenter 9000, VHS Vs5000

I'd keep the 9000 and use it till it breaks! They don't fetch that much these days but are glorious pieces of kit! You wife has excellent taste!

  • Re: Potential new customer Beolab 4000 vs Beolab 3

I like 4000s - I have two pairs of these and a pair of 3s. I think if I had a decent sized living room to fill, I would consider the 4000s - I don't like the Beolab 2 for music - I have one in my AV set up. If you are thinking of 3s, have you considered 8000s? Similar price but an upgrade over the 4000s. I would also suggest that if your budget

  • Re: BL2 setup switches

I don't have the manual in front of me but as far as I remember, the Set up switch controls the level at which the cross over operates (which compensates for different speakers) and the position alters the frequency response ( decreases the output when in corner and wall settings compared with free standing).
