Hello, The Beocenter 7700 is one of the greatest B&O music centres ever made I would recomend a pair of Beovox S-45's, the three way model. Great build quality and typical warm B&O sound! A matching CD player would be a Beogram CDX or a CDX2, but the 3000, 3300, and 4500 will also do fine

Hello, you can also use the Beomaster Terminal that was fitting to the Beomaster 6000, though with reduced amount of functions -Søren

In 2008, I recieved one of theese fellas, for free! It worked fine in stereo, but the rear amplifiers had gone, some lights dead etc. Sold it to a real collector... I regret that... Also, I found a real nice Beogram 4000, also partly working, but sold that too because I simply couldn't find any spare IC's! -Søren

The Beomaster 8000/Beovox S75 is a clearly winning combination, using one myself I especially like the great amount of bass, and clear treble end The S75's were designed for the Beomaster 4400, which basically evolved to the Beomaster 6000. The output stage is pretty much unaltered -Søren

For 159 euros you can get a retipping that is equivalent to MMC20CL. I am very fond of my retipped MMC2 with the same option The treble response can be a little bad on a 30+ year old cartridge, and an original MMC20CL may be bad as well. The suspension hardens inside the cartridge, plus an eventual worn cantilever which probably is the issue here.

Ah, that was easy! Thanks for the help, Martin! -Hammer

I have had a pair of CX50's hanging on a wall, worked fine The bass will be a little thin, The Cona will not be necessary, but a nice supplement to the system though I would recomend a pair of P45's for the BM 3000 and a pair of RedLine speakers for the 5500 Greetings from Denmark, Søren Hammer

Hello Beoworlders, I have wondered if there was a meaning the the "Tap" at the left side besides the dust cover of the Beogram 8000 series. Mine is working its way out, but I hasn't become a problem yet. Is it holding the dust cover on axis? Here's a helping pic:

The 99 Euro retipping sure is fine, I consider doing that on an MMC20EN, as I want to hear the difference between that and my retipped MMC2 with the 159 Euro option with contact line diamond 1,2 grams should be fine -Søren
