I think most of us are aware of the Beoliving strategy, I mean it is there for years. I think for Europe there is quite a few customers that pick up B&O outside the "Beoliving" segment. I know this is not the market that you are catering to but overall I am sure it is big business. I believe that for many

It's an interesting interpretation because that was not the mood at the dealer conference. I think many were impressed (I certainly was) at how "vision based" the conference was. In the past, these meetings had tended to focus on individual products and filling gaps in the lineup. This year B&O put forward a concise vision of what
Hi Trip I have not had the time to write until now. This is very interesting news and a most welcome one. One more question: Will Beo6 be a good universal remote, easy to set up for other brands. This is quite important for me since we have (and will have) several other devices to control. I use a Philips Prestigo today

Yeah, as a dealer myself, this almost doesn't ring true. I know that there are some sub-par shops out there but if you've contacted the dealer where you bought it and they've let it go for this long it's completely unacceptable. We've seen with the BM5 that B&O was very slow at delivering software update.
I think this is very fair. We can discuss things that are about
with the excitement and hub bub i am getting a bit confused... where does that place folks like me that bought the Bs5 last year? is my Bs5 now defunct? what does the Bs5 have that the encore doesn't? what does the encore have that the Bs5 doesn't?
It puts you in a great position! The BeoSound
By multi source multi zone do you mean the new system will have the ability to play for instance CD in one room, TV,in another, N. music in a third all at the same time? What I am trying to figure out is this: I have held off from buying a Beosound 5 due to the inability to view cover art and make selections from the
Wasn't thinking through the missing masterlink thing earlier. So that must mean that I have to connect it to the AUX in of my BC2 ....? Does it have its own Powerlink sockets?
Yes. Until there's a converter box, which may be a year or so from now, that is how it would be done. The BeoSound 5 Encore has
