Hello All I have the Panasonic BD60 workign with the PUC for the BD55 and it works nicely. A few things i have noticed. The player does not turn on when you press DVD, it will turn off if you select off at source change. When the TV goes to standby using the timer it also does not turn off the player, when you have off at source change selected. Am

hi yeah i forgot to post this sorry I got a reply from Beocare saying the PUC currently canot get the menu up when you hold down play on the apple remote but there is a new one called Apple Remote 1.10a i think its called and it turns the apple tv on and off.

Hi I am going to buy the BD60 as i could buy 4 Blu Ray players for the cost of the Internal player. I understnad the the PUC for BD55 will control the BD60 but what about the DMP-BD60EB-K Is that ok as there are extra letters on it. Also How do i disable the on board DVD i have changed it to disabled in the config menu but it will not save the changes

ahhh but dont forget the player built in has an internet conenction but the upgrade for the MK3 does not have ethernet connection.

thanks for all your interesting replies and i will go and buy the BD60 as i need a player anyway. edit: Also i have conculeded that the BS3 is a pile of Junk that cannot be upgraded and it just a old fasioned AMP. No upgrade for HDMI 1.3 As normal were expected to wiat and spend another 9K on a BV Not in this lifetime

this is only my opinion but they want to get a life. i get far more info here about problems and known issues than any dealer you can call. B&o uk kever get back to you with any problems you have you have to chase chase chase if it was not for this forum we would wait forever for news and info.

ah back to price B&O prices are vile and there is no need for it at all. condisering we are always chasing the new features like Dolby TrueHD & HDMI 1.3 most of us will need to upgrade our whole TV set now and then, now if the TV was a good price then you could do this but as they are completly out of touch with reality we will always be left
