Hi, I have both at home in the moment to find out which is the better one for my setup (lab 5 plus lab3 in the back). I always thought that the 7.4 must be the much better match with the lab5 than the 7.1 I did a quick check on Sunday, but suprise surprise, the difference is not that big! I will run a much more detailed test tonight as I have to return

That's a good one!! The BS3 is a great concept and now playing with it the last couple of month I would say there is still some room for improvement :-) Hopefully the next SW upgrade will fix some of the problems with disturb my relationship to the BS3 every day, but to early to talk about a potential divorce..... My dealer just upgraded the PUC

Fully agree, pricing is not all (but for sure important). If you go with products which may need some service or updates from time to time (like a Beosystem 3 in a BV7, 9 or BV4) you need a supportive dealer! Or when it comes down to link B&O products, attach 3rd party ones you may need a helping hand as well. Karsten

Listen to 5 lab5 would be a dream....however, I guess the lab 5 as rears will not make a big difference in multichannel audio (forget the speaker 4 mode for a moment). From my expierience the center channel is more important. That would be a wonderful weekend to have a lab 9, lab 5, lab 7-3 and a 7-2 for a test drive.....:-) The only problem is the

I was a proud owner of a pair Nautilus 802 and a HTM-1 Center speaker, and two Nautilus SCM in the rear. The whole set was driven by a Denon AVC-1SE. The N802 is a fantastic loudspeaker with no doubt! However, I was unable to control the N802 in my room to get a decent sound result.(I always had the sound in mind during the several test I did at the

Nice story and a great sales pitch! When I orderd my Lab5 I could not wait for two weeks for the first available installation slot so I picked them up myself and had to bring them up to stairs from the garage to the living room....I will never ever do this agian, (and I guess my friend who helped me will not show up again for that job anyway :-)) )

HI, I just took al look at my cables which came with the lab 5. There is no mark on it and they are roughly 2 to 3 times thicker than the PL MK3 cables for my lab3. I think you have the right type of cables, but maybe they are damaged. My lab 5 are connected to a BS3 (and I have a BS9000 in an other room connected via ML), on top I have connected my

I have done some test the other with my lab 5 to find out if the digital connection gives you and extra in sound quality. I did the test with a Sony CD player form the ES series, connected it directly to the lab 5 with digital out and also did connect the player in the same way to a beosystem 3, an powerlink to the lab 5. Also did the same with a Tosh

From my point of view there is one big difference between the hi def audio and video. For most consumers the difference between SACD/DVD-Audio and a standard DVD is not noticeable and does not make a differnce in there day to day listining expirience. Hi Def video is a little bit different as almost everybody sees the huge improvement in HD video to
