The buttons on my BM 1700 have gone faulty. They work, that is, switch the unit on but they won't stay on. Volume, Balance, Bass, Treble work as they should but all the others won't stay in place. You have to hold the button down to listen. Any help would be appreciated as a friend of mine has been using it and is now quite disappointed not

Please see photo of din plug inside my beogram (apologies for the quality) There are 4 coloured wires and one earth wire....surely thats too many wires?? The Din plug inside has 9 pins???? I've looked at another BG4002 and it uses only 2 wires and an earth wire. I am wanting to change the Din cable on the BG but I'm wondering if its correctly

I have a Beomaster 2400-2 and they are indeed very stylish. Mine also had a hum, actually a terrible hum. It was the capacitors. You have to replace all the eletrolytic capacitors as they dry out or leak with age. It will solve the problem. Its a big job and you need to have good soldering abilities. A capacitor kit is available from Dillen on this
