I have had my Beomedia 1 for about 3 years. During that time, the software was upgraded once. Can you imagine a Windows based machine with only 1 software update in 3 years. The menus are difficult to follow and the documentation is not really very good. I must admit that in my case, I had to install the machine myself because the dealer had nobody

I was able to complete the survey without problem. I think their servers are probably very busy. Its an interesting survey. I think what they are trying to find out is if people actually like the magazine format. Or maybe to get us ready for a change back to the old format published annually to save money.

I am hoping for Apple lossless MP4A.

The final white version of the BS9000 will be an absolute classic. It would be nice to own one. I am beginning to think that CDs are the new vinyl especially with the various methods of downloading music. However I don't think all the bits are there to stop buying and playings CDs. Peter you were right. There is a lot of interest in a Beogram 7000. I have already received several emails asking about the price. I probably should have added that I will not be selling the Beogram 7000 until I find a suitable Beogram 9500. The BG7000 works fine in the AUX connector. It is a US version. Thanks for everyone's help.

Thanks for the responses. I guess I will have to start looking for a Beogram 9500. My Beogram 7000 is in mint condition which will be easy to sell. Regards, Bill

I received a Beocenter 9500 today that I purchased on Ebay. The seller described it as in mint condition but it looks new as if was never taken out of the box. I am really happy. However I have a Beogram 7000 which of course had an inbuilt RIAA. How can I turn of the RIAA in the Beogram 7000 and still use the datalink functions of the Beocenter 9500

White is not a new color for B&O. I had a white MX5000 TV and a white VX5000 vhs. Look at the older catalogs. White has been featured many times but not lately. Opening new stores in the Middle East is a good idea and maybe the local tastes might favor the new white but the new white is not new.

TripEnglish: The BeoMedia 1 and the BeoMaster 5 are identical until you look at the back. Then the inside. Sorry. This of course make sense. However I will ask the question differently. Can a Beosound 5 be attached to a Beomedia 1 instead of a Beomaster 5? I guess this would mean that the Beomedia 1 would have a software upgrade. If this is the end
