This debate whilst very interesting is about such subjective issues that it could (and probably will) go on indefinitely because the components that contribute to "the true added value of style" will be different for different people.... For me the biggest factor can be summed up in one word - enjoyment, and a good deal of that enjoyment comes

With regard to the arm on your 8000 lifting off unpredictably - I have the same problem. It's in for repair at the moment - I shall let you know the remedy and cost. Cheers Nigel

OK Remember your talking to a complete and utter technophobe who does not understand computers...... I have a scanned (into a word document) copy of a CDX users manual. the file size is huge - 19,000 KB. My secretary does not know how to compress / zip this file to make it any smaller and I certainly don't. Don't know if I'll be able to
