Or 146cm! for the BM, BC, BG (CD). I do not use my beogram at the minute, but would probably have this below the 3 rather than alongside.

There is a lot of emphasis on the BEO5, what about the cheaper one? nothing (I think) has been mentioned as yet apart from it being cheaper and having a limited functionality. Will this remote resemble the Beo1? in terms of function? and made from cheaper materials? Could this remote be a "gem" in disguise? Any sneak shots???

I think that every brand will suffer from "one or two" lemons in thier range. Not good and yes I think having spent so much money I too would be feeling the same. A good frank and open chat with your dealer is needed.

IIRC the two side are passive and the front is active but yes all three are all functioing speakers/woofers.

Dont be so pedantic! All this techincal malarky means nothing to me, its all about the sound and I have always favoured the CD mech on the 4500 over a number of cd players including the 9000.. just sounds so much brighter in comparison.

I think there all pants to be honest!

I have both Between the two, I would say without a shadow of a doubt that the 4500 is simply better in everyway. Its elegant, stunning and a pleasure to use. Mine has served me well for near 8-9 years or so now ( I think!) and still wows people. I have thought about selling the 4500 a number of times but I still have it and doubt very much that I will

Not sure - but if the batteries are the original from when first sold then I would guess to say this is the reason why as they all will at some point need changing. Same thing happened with my BL7000 but the previous owner had them changed before I bought it! Either way, your dealer will be able to confirm!
