  • Re: Sellers who have second thoughts

I doubt B&O would agree to this as it would essentially mean giving BeoWorld a large present. We are an independent site. I would be not too surprised if they said that we were breaking copyright rules and should stop hosting the manuals. We are not whiter than white anyway - some of the manuals come from the old Beoworld and their provenance is

  • Re: Sellers who have second thoughts

I don't agree at all. eBay is a buyer's market. Sellers cannot leave negative feedback and buyers seem to be able to claim something is broken, get a refund and keep the item. I only buy and have only had one bad experience (if you don't count the fact that relatively little B&O actually works when it arrives - I always expect this and

  • Re: Windfall??????????????????

Any old (think 70s and before!) user manuals that could be scanned would be useful - I can scan and return should this be the windfall! Peter

  • Re: my b & o 9500 has a problem!

Afraid I agree with Graham - the service manual is not that helpful - indeed most are not. They do give a breakdown of parts though which can be helpful. Maybe Graham could give a step bt step account of the procedure though which would be most helpful. Written so an idiot can manage (I may need this in the future!)

  • Re: A very special BEOLAB 5000 (1967)

I have mine side by side - the rubber feet leave marks on the rosewood. When my dealer borrowed my system they stacked it and it took quite a bit of polishing to remove the evidence!

  • Re: Beovox M150 and Beomaster 6500

Actually I rather like the 6000 quad which is one of the most stunning designs that B&O have come up with. I do have one still! I call it two puffed up 901s because, from a circuit design point of view, that is what it is. The design in this case is more impressive than the sound. It is however an ergonomic triumph in many ways - back buttons and

A very good question!! Maybe B&O can answer this! I'll email them!

  • Re: Tonearm ST/P 12" sought

The angle at the end would be wrong - and not too sure about the resonances! Nice idea though!

I think we will have to agree to disagree. I think the 6500 more than capable. It has a power output of 55W per channel which is more than adequate for almost anyone. From a circuit design point of view, it is a continuation of the same B&O design as the decent B&O amplifiers.
