We decided that as I was stopping over night, it would probably be a good idea to undo all the bubblewrap tomorrow and take a couple of presentation photo's in the morning. Lee had been kind enough to book me into "The Pier" hotel (Bless him, as if he doesn't have enough to do!) and as he had an appointment, I went to the hotel and

Graeme: Andy can you not swap your 7000 for a VCR and tape corrie? Graeme, I have two VX7000s, a Kikinoko hard disc DVD recorder and a Sky+ box which is 96% full. I am seven episodes of Corrie behind, three episodes of Eastenders and two of The Bill. If I don't catch up a bit, my Sky+ box will start deleting some of the older stuff. BTW, bit disappointed

As is this. Corrie time now. Some more later. Promise I won't make it as long as the Struer thread!

9 LEE: Well, thanks for taking a rubbish photo of me with my eyes closed. Oh sorry, I thought you always looked like that. Anyway, we decided to go down to the Beoworld office where my prize was being kept. I followed Lee in my own car. This is outside Beoworld.

Graeme: cumon andy I was just getting into this story and youve dried up, or are you still rolling around at your joke about Lee's car........................................it was a joke ....right? Oh, sorry. Tadaaa!!

That's my little purple car at the bottom of the hill. Guess this must be Lee's white Triumph Acclaim.

Having previously spoke to Lee on the 'phone, we had agreed that I would meet him at Lifestyle and, at about 3.30 Ozzie announced "You have reached your...er.. f****ing destination. Ahh, there it is. Check the number plate.

Yes and strangely, when I lifted off the wooden lid this morning there was a brown envelope stuck to it with the circuit diagram in it! Looks like it had been there since the early seventies. I think it was common practice to leave these in the case in those days. No bad smells in there and everything lights up so just the case and one slider to worry
-
I had come here to pick up a Beomaster 4000 with ambio for £25. I knew it's wooden lid was a mess but when he told me that a side panel was missing, I got him down to £15 and loaded it into the Corsa.
